North Africa refers to the group of territories located in the northern part of the African continent. It includes six countries: Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, and Sudan (North-East Africa, sometimes classified as part of East Africa).

Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria are generally grouped together in a regional entity known as the Maghreb.
